DANCE WITHOUT LIMITS

Antonio Ayesta Olortegui is a Peruvian dancer that started as a gymnast, becoming a member of the national team in 1997. He has worked with Ballet Municipal de Lima, Perú, as first soloist; ballet Concierto Iñaqui Urlezaga, Argentina, as a guest dancer; Vanumuine Teater, Estonia, as first soloist; Magdeburg Theater, Germany, as “Solo” dancer; and with LaMov, Spain, where he also worked as a Ballet master and repetitor. Since 2017, he works as a freelance artist in different projects with contemporary choreographers from Spain, not only as a dancer but also as choreographer assistant. Antonio combines his freelancing with teaching Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance. He has been invited as a guest teacher at the Conservatory of dance of Zaragoza and also to teach workshops in Logroño, Reus, Castellón, etc. Currently he works as a Ballet and Contemporary dance teacher in the prestigious dance school María de Ávila in Zaragoza, Spain.
