DIEGO CRUZ
DANCE WITHOUT LIMITS
Diego Cruz was born in Zaragoza, Spain. He trained in Estudio de Danza María de Ávila until he did the San Francisco Ballet School trainee program. Diego joined San Francisco Ballet in 2006 and performed feature roles like “Concerto Grosso”, pas de cinq in “Giselle” or Benvolio in “Romeo and Juliet“ by Helgi Tomasson. Among others, he danced pieces by George Balanchine, William Forsythe or Christopher Wheeldon. He performed at the gala Despertares in 2016 and danced at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, Miami, in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
