Trained at Canada`s National Ballet School, French-born Louisa Rachedi danced with the National Ballet of Canada before returning to Europe in 2007. She spent her formative years as a soloist of Ballett am Rhein in Düsseldorf, first under Youri Vamos and, from 2009, under Martin Schläpfer. In 2016, after 13 years as a professional dancer, she decided to work independently and founded the Performing Arts platform Limbic Shift. In addition, she guested as a rehearsal director and teacher with companies such as the Finnish National Ballet, Ballett im Revier Gelsenkirchen, Ballett am Rhein Düsseldorf and Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference. In June 2018, she joined Gauthier Dance as Ballet Mistress. Starting in September 2020, she will be joining the Wiener Staatsballett as deputy director.
