RUBÉN  CABOLEIRO CAMPO

DANCE WITHOUT LIMITS

Born in Galicia (Spain), dancer Rubén Cabaleiro Campo started taking ballet lessons in Vigo, at the Escuela de Danza Hannelore-Deborah, until he moved to Madrid to continue training at the Centro de Danza Víctor Ullate. There followed an engagement at the Zürich Ballet, under the direction of Heinz Spoerli. In 2007 he was given a contract by the ballet of the Hannover State Opera, directed by Jörg Mannes. He performed works by William Forsythe, Hans van Manen, Johan Inger, Mauro Bigonzetti, Nils Christe, Maurice Béjart, Mario Schröder, Heinz Spoerli, Víctor Ullate and Jörg Mannes, among others. As from the 2016/17 season Rubén Cabaleiro Campo is a member of Ballett am Rhein, where he danced till now main roles in ballets by Martin Schläpfer, Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine, Sol León and Paul Lightfoot, Marco Goecke, Ohad Naharin, Natalia Horecna.
